Jackpot

What is Jackpot?

A jackpot is the top prize available in a gambling game, often significantly larger than standard payouts. Progressive jackpots grow incrementally as players wager, with a portion of each bet contributing to the prize pool until someone wins.

Why it matters

Jackpots can reach life-changing amounts but have extremely low probability of being won. Understanding the odds and RTP impact of jackpot contributions helps set realistic expectations.

Example

A progressive slot network reaches a jackpot of €5 million. The odds of triggering the jackpot spin are approximately 1 in 50 million. The base game RTP is reduced to fund jackpot contributions.
