Accumulator

What is Accumulator?

An accumulator (also known as a parlay or multi-bet) is a single wager that combines multiple individual bets into one. All selections must win for the accumulator to pay out, with odds multiplying together to create potentially larger returns.

Why it matters

Accumulators offer higher potential payouts than individual bets but carry greater risk. Understanding how they work helps bettors assess the true probability of winning and make informed decisions about stake sizes.

Example

A bettor places a four-team accumulator on football matches: Team A to win (2.0 odds), Team B to win (1.8 odds), Team C to win (2.2 odds), and Team D to win (1.5 odds). The combined odds are 2.0 × 1.8 × 2.2 × 1.5 = 11.88. A €10 stake would return €118.80 if all four teams win.
