Cash Out

What is Cash Out?

Cash out is a feature that allows bettors to settle a bet before the event has concluded, receiving a payout based on the current likelihood of their bet winning. The amount offered is calculated in real-time and may be higher or lower than the original stake.

Why it matters

Cash out provides flexibility and risk management options, allowing bettors to secure profits or minimize losses. However, the cash out value typically includes a margin that favors the bookmaker.

Example

A bettor places €20 on a team at 3.0 odds (potential return €60). At halftime, their team leads 2-0, and the bookmaker offers a cash out of €45. The bettor can accept €45 now or risk losing it if the match result changes.
