KYC (Know Your Customer)

What is KYC?

KYC refers to the identity verification procedures that gambling operators must perform on their customers. This includes verifying identity, age, address, and source of funds to comply with anti-money laundering regulations and prevent underage gambling.

Why it matters

KYC requirements protect both operators and players by preventing fraud, identity theft, and access by minors. Delays in verification can affect withdrawal processing times.

Example

A player requests their first withdrawal and is asked to provide photo ID, proof of address (utility bill), and bank statement. The operator verifies these documents before processing the payment.
